March is Membership Renewal Month

Thank you to all new members of the Friends of the Library for your support this year. March is the time to renew your annual membership in the Friends of the Pace Library! Our membership runs from March 1, 2010 to February 28, 2011. Your dues help the Library in many ways and are much needed as we help to meet the needs of our community. Click on Membership Form for a copy of the form.

Dues are $10 for an individual, $20 for a family, and $100 and above for patron donations. Please join our monthly meetings and encourage all of your friends to become members. If you joined during December, January, or February, your membership is good for all of 2009.

The Friends group sponsors the library's youth programs throughout the year, during 2008 we contributed half the cost of the folding wall for the children’s area. We supplement the library budget with purchase of books and equipment, and provide broad support to the library and its activities.

Your dues and our used book sales help with this support. Besides the twice annual used book sales the Friends now have their own booths at Alyssa’s Antique Depot (both Hwy 90 and Chumuckla Road locations) stocked by Friends' volunteers! So if you can't wait for the next big book sale or you missed it, come to the booth to stock up! There is also a used book shelf at the Pace Library.

Members of the Friends group receive advance notice of book sales, Presale Day, and other events. Those who join as a family receive a Friends Book Bag. Click on Membership Form to become a Member today!
